This weekend the lake was the most calm that we've seen, if the boat wasn't in the shot you could turn it upside down and not even know

Paddling when it's this smooth is about the most relaxing thing on the planet, if you ask Lisa anyway

We took our time to get to the campsite and still did the 6 miles in just over an hour, the water was like a freshly paved road!

We like to keep a tidy site, the bears don't like it so much though, no scraps for them!

On our way to check out Little Beaver Creek, Kyle and Naomi were rocking the Mad River Canoe

The glacier from Little Beaver campsite, you can actually get a campsite with a view like this!

Heading down Little Beaver Creek toward the log jam we couldn't get through last time

I was determined to make it though this time

After moving a bunch of branches, logs and whatever else I made it through, just to see a small waterfall with a fast current a few hundred feet up the creek, see me way up there?

The coolest waterfall ever, it is actually cool too, the temperature must be 10 degrees colder when you get near it

The water is a lot lower this time, the snow is mostly gone from the mountains so the runoff is almost done for the summer
We couldn't resist climbing up for a closer look, click for a short video

We were woken up by this little one running around, we could here it bouncing around its mother

We had visitors on Sunday morning, this Doe and her fawn were hanging around for an hour or so

I've never taken a picture of fire before, it looks kind of cool actually, we scored tons of driftwood because the water level was quite low

We never seem to remember to snap a picture of Hozomeen Mountain on our way back to civilization, it looks like it should be in another country
