To get to Hozomeen we had to cross the border and drive down a 39 mile dirt road, this place is isolated! Click on the image to zoom

Even the view from the launch at Hozomeen was great, it only got better from there

Boundry Bay is a six mile paddle and has three sites, this one has the best view and easiest boat access

Our new Asolo tent did great considering it rained most of the weekend and the color really shows how green everything is

Each site has a locker to keep your food, we used it to keep some of our gear dry too

We picked up this lighweight folding aluminum table to cook on, it worked out great

There are snow covered mountains all around, most end right at the water's edge

On the right shoreline you can barely make out what looks like a small waterfall

Thw waterfall is actually about 10 stories tall but most of it can only be seen from the right angle

There was quite a cold breeze coming out from the canyon that the waterfall runs through

It was tough to stay steady enough to get a decent picture, there was heavy current pushing us away from it

Some of the mountains look like they should be in the swiss alps, not Washington

The clouds never left, most of the time they were low like this, which is kind of cool looking

In the background is Jack Mountain and the Nohokomeen Glacier

The road was a little muddy on the way back, it makes the Element look tough!
