The rain had just stopped, we had a lot of packing up to do before we could take off

This is the map of remote sites, click to download the PDF

Just coming into remote site R33, a 4 mile paddle from the campground where we launched

There was a small beach area to land, we dragged the boats up so we could unload them

The site was large but only had one good spot to set up a tent, this is our new EMS tent

Lisa walked out to get a couple pictures of the site and to cool off a bit, it was over 80 degrees

We went for a short paddle at dusk, the lake was really smooth, we could hear the loons crying too

All the gear was packed in the dry bags you see here, we were cooking dinner after starting a fire

Next time we are going to try to get site R34, it seems to be laid out a little different

We fired up some bacon and eggs for breakfast but were too full from dinner to eat the Jiffy Pop

Breakfast was awesome, the guys in a boat fishing just off the shore would probably agree, smells were drifting their way

Lisa in her new Perception Avatar, it fits much better than her old boat and is a lot faster too

On the way back to the campground we stopped at this cove for a quick swim, the bugs were insane
