Guest Room Paint & Doors

The room was painted pink by the old owners, they did a horrible job and got paint all over the ceiling so we had to paint that as well.

I used the Glidden ceiling paint that goes on pink and dries white, it makes it so much easier to see where you have and haven't painted.

The walls were full of holes and dents so I spent a few days patching, sanding and priming to get ready for paint, including all the brown trim.

The fact that the window area is a dormer on the front of the house means it has another full set of corners to cut in around, it seemed to take forever.

Gregg called so I took a break from cutting in around the window and up to the high ceiling, I'm not a big fan of heights so I didn't mind, more pictures to come after we get the room set up for guests.

We got the paint finished and even found some cool photos of bridges in NYC, we sometimes call this the New York room.

The doors took a while to paint but really look great, we may put them on the hallway closet someday.
