August 29, 2004:  We're finally out of Worcester for good, I took the last load of stuff out today and turned in the keys.  The new tenants were moving in while I was trying to finish cleaning up the kitchen, seeing as it's not really the end of the month the landlord said they could move in stuff today but once they did, I wasn't cleaning anything else, that might be the coolest thing he has ever done for us.  I tell you what, it felt awesome to drive down that damn street for hopefully the last time, that is something we certainly won't miss.  Gregg came down Thursday night to help me do a brake job on Lisa's car.  Perfect example of a small job that turned into a huge mess.  This is the old driver's side front rotor, in case you don't know, the center of the rotor is missing, that's because it broke off while we were trying to remove it. I wish I could say the passenger side did the same, we actually had to perforate it by drilling about 40 holes all around the edge of the rotor's surface and then beat on it until it broke off like the other.  Just getting that one off took over 3 hours.  At least we got it and now Lisa has brakes again.   I got a bunch more stuff accomplished here yesterday and even got to ride my bike down to this little public beach on the lake down the road.  It feels like I haven't been on my bike for month but I guess it really has been a month, my front fork was sent out for warranty service for most of that month so I can't feel too bad about being lazy.  I finished fixing the garage door, now the opener actually works and doesn't look like its going to come apart when it lifts the door.  I got a few more things hung up on the walls and even got the rest of the garage organized.  I loaded up Dave's trailer for a trip to the dump next weekend, the last tenants left a bunch of crap around the apartment and in the garage so we have to get rid of.  Lisa has been hitting it hard again as always, her finals start tomorrow and go until Thursday, then she's on break for 3 weeks before she starts her rotations for fall quarter.  We are going to Gregg and Kristen's new house next weekend for Matthew's 1st birthday and after we will probably go up to my parent's place for some good old 4wheelin' and probably some mountain biking too.  Its been so hot here this weekend, poor Lisa has been dying from the heat while she is trying to study, she takes breaks to go out and cool off in the pool.  I've never had a pool at my house so sometimes I forget that it's even there.  Growing up Lisa had a pool at her house so she's used to it and uses ours more than I do.  We won't have too many good weekends like this one for using it this year but we'll have plenty of them next summer.  Well, I guess that's it for now, things are good, we'll talk again next week.

August 22, 2004:  So it's been a while since we talked, so much has been going on here at Jay and Lisa.org that we haven't had time to update the site.  Some good things have happened and some not so good, I'll try to cover everything, there's  a lot to cover so let's get started.  When we moved out of Rochester we sold the jetski, which was my favorite toy.  I just got a slightly different replacement for it, a 2005 Honda Rincon 4-wheeler.  I have been able to take it up to NH for a few rides so far, you can find pictures to the left.  We went to Curt and Liz's wedding a few weeks ago too, it was awesome, a bunch of my old friends from Dan's Crafts were there, it was a great time.  We went to a formal for Lisa's school one of these weekends, it was fun, a lot like a high school prom but fun none the less.  Through all of this fun Lisa was out straight with school and trying to pack up the apartment to move to our new place.  After the 1st of the month I started getting the new place ready to move in, painting a few rooms, fixing the broken garage door, and replacing the kitchen floor.  All of that turned out to be much more work than I expected and took the better part of those two weeks.  Right in the middle of us making trips out here with stuff Isis decided that she couldn't take being away from us any longer and broke out of the apartment to go look for us.  The bad part was that she broke through a double pane insulated glass window to do it.  Our neighbor found her sitting in a puddle of her own blood a few feet from the window in the back yard.  You can see the pictures here but be aware they are kind of scary.  The vet stitched her up real good and she will get her stitches out this week.  She's doing fine, looks like a fighting dog but that's alright, at least she's ok.  We got almost all of our stuff moved in the weekend after and the place looks great.  We still have a ton of unpacking to do and Lisa has finals in two weeks so we'll see how long it will be until the place is totally set up.  As soon as we are finished with everything we will put pictures up like we did with our old apartment.  The place is awesome, we feel like we are totally at home already, and most of our stuff isn't even unpacked yet!  Lisa went home to Watertown, NY this weekend to see her parents, they were visiting from Florida.  I didn't get to go but I did get to go 4 wheeling with my Dad and Gregg up in NH.  We rode up the Mt. Washington auto road this morning, the weather was amazing, clear, no wind and about 65 degrees.  We got pretty lucky considering the statistics say that the mountain is in the clouds more than 60% of the time!  I put some pictures up on the left as well.  Other than all of that there are a few small things that I'm sure I missed but maybe I'll remember those next time.  Anyway, enjoy the new pictures and we talk again soon.
