April 27, 2009: Hey gang, hope you are enjoying your Spring, we're getting there. Things have been crazy at work and we really haven't had much time to ourselves. Lisa's work has
actually started to calm down a little bit so she isn't putting in as many hours as the last couple months. My work is actually starting to ramp up, which seems hard to believe right? I'll be stuck in Dallas
April 17, 2009: Well as always, sorry for the huge gap in updates. As you could guess things were insane before we left and even crazier when we got back. At the last minute
I had to fly to Dallas for a meeting and didn't get back into Seattle until after 1am the night before we had to be back at the airport at 8am for the flight to Hawaii. It was super stressful to get everything ready
for hopefully no more than a week at the end of May because Gregg will be arriving in Seattle on May 29th. I'm thinking I may be flying back into Seattle the same time he gets here, at least that would save me a
trip to the airport :) We've started to deal with the yard a little bit and have decided that after the fence is done we'll try to get the back yard sorted. That decision is on the heals of some news about
the new puppy. As it turns out both of the dogs were having false pregnancies, look it up, it really happens. They will be breeding them again next time they are in season, basically this coming Winter
sometime. We did a little work in the office over the last couple weeks to get it more in order. We added another bookcase, lots of magazine storage boxes and finally found something to hold our DVD collection.
I'll try to grab a couple of pictures this week an create a project page for it. The office is the only room that we really didn't do anything other than furnish it, maybe someday if we ever get to replacing the carpet
with hardwood we may paint the walls, they are tolerable for the time being. The weather has been a little better so I was able to dedicate some time to building a crate to hold my new RC truck, much like the one I
built for the boat before we moved out here. I'll also add a page to the 'Projects' section for that, I just finished the paint last night so it's basically finished. I finally got to actually run the truck over
the weekend and the only word I can say is insane! The new pipe is quieter than I thought it would be but it quickly became obvious that I need to find a much larger place to run it, crazy fast. Lisa has been
running with Stella almost every morning and she's starting to get addicted to it. It's awesome for Stella because it totally runs her down first thing in the morning, extra bonus. I just need to get to the same
place with riding so I can get back to my previously girlish figure. I'm sure when the weather gets a little bit better it will give me that kick in the behind I need to get back into shape, here's to hoping anyway.
Have a great week and keep watch for those pictures I promised.
at the house and get to the airport in time but once we got off the plane and it was 80 degrees and sunny everything was ok. The trip was amazing, they took extremely good care of us, everything was thought of and
taken care of for us. We had great food, plenty of fun things to do, open bar everywhere we went and we even had presents waiting in our rooms basically every time we returned from an event. For a few days it
really made us all feel like they care about how hard we work for the company. Of course that all went away when we returned and realized that all the work we didn't do while we were gone had multiplied like unattended
rabbits and we were going to have to spend the next two months catching up. After the work portion of the trip ended we stayed at a really cool little condo type hotel downtown and did some of things we didn't get to do
earlier in the week. We got to go snorkeling 3 more times including one place where the fish were HUGE and were swimming around you when you were only knee deep in the water! We also got to drive the famous road to
Hana which was awesome and scary all at the same time. We had a great rest of the week and even got to enjoy the whole last day because we were taking the red eye home. Stella had fun at the doggy vacation place and
after getting the broken furnace that greeted us taken care of we crashed early in the evening. This week was kind of slow for me, plenty of work to do but no mojo to actually do it. The weather looks great for the
weekend so hopefully we'll both get back to normal again. Anyway, it's late and I'm done, check out the pictures and have a great week!
