January 28, 2010: Happy Birthday to Stella!!! Seems like it's just been a few months but two years ago today we were holding Stella in one hand, now, stretched out she takes up the entire couch, funny how that works. Things have been quite insane around here and we really haven't had time to do updates to the site. Lisa's work has been crazy and I've been working 12+ hour days. I don't see a break in my
schedule in the near future and nothing is changing at Lisa's pharmacy either. It's been a very mild and dry winter so far and in the last few weeks it's been over 50 degrees almost every day. I've started riding my mountain bike again and so far on the few rides I've done there has been no pain in my hip at all. I'm hoping that as I keep working out the muscles I can keep saying that. We have mostly just been riding on the trails near the house with the dog but we also joined a bunch of our friends and did a charity ride a few weekends ago. It was a 16 mile ride and I finished it in just under 2 hours, not bad for being so out of shape. We've been visiting the puppies at SweetCreek at least once a week and it's been great to watch them grow up. Stella doesn't know it yet but she's gonna be psyched when we bring her home a sister to play with. She comes with us when we go to see the puppies so she can play outside with her brother Leroy, they play until she is too tired to even stand up! We're hoping to get a little of that on our own ground once she has her own playmate at home. I'm
going to be taking off on Sunday for training in France next week. It's going to be a quick trip, well, it will take the better part of 20 hours just to get to our hotel there. We have training Tuesday to Thursday and we're flying back Friday. We pick up the puppy that Friday night only a couple hours after my flight lands back here in Seattle, it will likely be a very long week. Anyway, we'll get pictures up when we can, have a great
week!
January 9, 2010: Hey everyone, we're still here and haven't forgotten about you, things have just been insanely busy with work and everything else. I've done some traveling and am about to do a
bunch more, maybe even to France for training! The puppies are getting huge and we're actually on our way over there in a few minutes to see how they're doing and grab some pictures. The holidays were good, nothing too
crazy but lots of fun. I'll try to do another update soon but have to run for now, enjoy the rest of your weekend.
