November 11, 2010:  Good afternoon, hope you all are having a nice fall.  Things are as crazy as ever here, the house stuff is progressing but taking an amazing amount of our time.  The few changes we've chosen to make along the way are starting to appear and so far we like what we see.  We still have to make a lot of decisions like tile, trim, interior doors and paint but we're marking them off as we go.  This week they will be wrapping up the rough electrical and plumbing and hopefully getting an inspection.  Once that is done I will be going in to do all of the low voltage wiring.  Things like ethernet, TV and phone will be in every room, some in multiple spots in each room.  Other things like the whole house audio system will only appear in some rooms.  We have also decided to change how we use the family room space.  The TV will now be built into the wall above the new fireplace and all of the 7.1 surround speakers will be built into the walls and ceilings and wired into the corner of that room.  I'm anxious to get moving on the wiring, it's going to be a lot of work but will be great to have when we move back in.  The outside of the house looks almost exactly as it did before the fire, minus a few final touches.  The painters need to paint the new garage door and some of the trim but have been able to dodge the rain enough to get most of it done.  As for a move in date, we're hoping to be there by Valentine's day of 2011, that gives them about 3 more months to finish.
